Abstract

  The objectives of this research were 1) to study the role on community Development of Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province. 2) to compare the role on community Development of  Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province., 3) to study the problems and the solutions of the role on community Development of  Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province. The research was mixed research both quantitative research and qualitative research. The sampling population were the 360 residents of the 3,646 total population whom are more than 18 years old upward. The methodology used Taro Yamane formula for the sampling population. The data analysis performed by a computer program for social science research and following statistics such as : frequency, percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation for describing and testing hypotheses by the personal factors. The t-test results were the differences between the two groups. F-test was done by means of analyzing, One Way ANOVA was tested the difference of Means from the three groups upward. The test of the differences Means in each pair was done by the Least Significant Difference: LSD. This qualitative research identified the in-depth interview with the key informants and collaborating the context by the content analysis technique.

The research findings were as follows:
1) The role on community Development of  Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province was  overall opinion in the high level (   =2.71), and considering the moderate level found in all aspects. Means arranged respectively from maximum to minimum were the foundation development ( =2.86), the conservation of natural resources and environment ( =2.77), the economic (  =2.71), the development of public health (  =2.67), the social development ( =2.64), the political development and management ( =2.61),
2) The comparison of the role on community Development of  Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province, classified by personal factors such as gender, age, education, occupation, and  income  average found that people with gender, age, education level had no different opinion on the role on community Development of  Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization ,whereas the population who had different sex,  income education and positions was found different opinion in the significance at level 0.05.
3) The suggestions about the role on community Development of  Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province found that executives administrative organization should reform the non-asphalt road; construct the ditch; reproduce the public and nature waterway ; promote the development of Children, Juveniles and Women; solve the drug problem; including afforest in the community and maintain the natural water and the results of the in-depth interview from the key informants provided important information about the role on community Development of Phonsoong Sub-District Administrative Organization, Dansai District, Loei Province can be concluded as follows: to accomplish the goal target, the executives should collaborate the participation of all sectors; to emphasize the campaign, the government sector should allocate the budget sufficiently to develop all sectors.
