Abstract

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to study Brahmavihara for Leadership Development for Community Development of Liap Khlong Thawi Watthana Bang Khae District Bangkok, 2) to compare Brahmavihara for Leadership Development for Community Development of Liap khlong Thawi Watthana Bang khae District Bangkok, Classified by personnel factors, and 3) to study problems obstacles and suggestions leadership in community development accordance with Brahmavihara Dhamma of community leader Liap Khlong Thawi Watthana Bangkok. The research methodology was the mixed method research between the quantitative and qualitative methods. For the quantitative research, the data were collected by 225 questionaire both closed and opened end with the 225 persons who lived in Liap Khlong Thawi Watthana Bangkok community.The data were analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation : S.D., t-test, F-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance, while the qualitative research collected data by in- depth interview from 7 Key Informants

 

The research findings were as follows :

1. The Brahmavihara for Leadership Development for community development of Liap khlong Thawi Watthana Bang khae District Bangkok, The overall were in high level at average as 4.03.

2. The zacomparison Brahmavihara for Leadership Development for Community development of Liap Khlong Thawi Watthana Bang Khae District Bangkok, Classified by personnel factors found that the people who had different sex agreed with different in significant at 0.01, thus the hypothesis was accepted. In the same way the people who had different education agreed with different in significant at 0.05, thus the hypothesis was accepted. While the rest of factors were not response, thus the hypothesis were rejected.

3.The problems obstacles and suggestions Brahmavihara for Leadership Development for community development of Liap khlong Thawi watthana Bang khae District Bangkok, found that the community leader lacked of the confident for solve problems in there and did not take into consideration in management, community development and less for participation with the people that made they did not intimately. Then the leader should be set clearly policy for system management in community.
