Abstract

Abstract

The Objectives of this Research are 1. to Study the Academic Management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section in Bangkok, 2. to compare the administrators’ and teachers’ ideas towards Academic Management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section in Bangkok and 3. to study the ways of the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section in Bangkok. The sampling group used for the research is 188 administrators and teachers of 10 Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section. The data are collected by using the questionnaire. Analyzing the data made by applying the statistics of mean, percentage and standard deviation, t-test, F-test and One-Way ANOVA.

On the result of research, it is found that :

1. As the result of analyzing the data, the administrators’ and teachers’ ideas towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, in all 5 aspects; in the aspects of curriculum, the process of learning, educational media and technology, internal demonstration and educational measurement and assessment  are at the high level.

2. On the result of comparing the administrators’ and teachers’ ideas towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools,  General section,   in all aspects, as the status, it is found that monks’ idea and laymen’s idea towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, are different with statistical significance 0.05. When it is compared as an aspect, the monks’ and laymen’s idea towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, in all 3aspects; in the aspect of curriculum, in the aspect of learning and in the aspect of educational measurement and assessment, are different with statistical significance 0.05. But in the aspects of educational media and technology and internal demonstration, they are not different with statistical significance 0.05. 

3.  On the result of comparing the administrators’ and teachers’ ideas towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section,  as the sex, it is found that the administrators’ ideas and teachers’ ideas towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, are not different with statistical significance 0.05. When it is compared in aspects, the administrators’ and teachers’ ideas towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, in 5 aspects; in the aspect of curriculum, in the aspect of learning process, in the aspect of educational media and technology in the aspect if internal demonstration and in the aspect of educational measurement and assessment, are not different with statistical significance 0.05

4. On the result of comparing the difference in pair, as the age of administrators and teachers who have the ideas of the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, in the aspect of internal demonstration, it is found that the ideas, of the administrators and teachers whose ages are 30 – 39 years old, towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, in the aspect of internal demonstration, are higher than those whose ages are 50 – 60 years old with statistical significance 0.05  

5. On the result of comparing the administrators’ and teachers’ ideas towards the academic management of Phrapariyattidham Schools, General section, being divided as their general educational qualifications, it is found that the levels of ideas, of the group who have got B.A. qualification and the group who have got the educational qualification that is higher than B.A., are not different.

 

 

 

The Ways of Developing the Academic Affairs

1. In the aspect of curriculum, it should have the ways of development and give an opportunity  to the personnel in schools to take  a part in doing the curriculum in coincidence with learners’ requirement and training and seminar on the curriculum should be held for the teachers and educational personnel continuously.  

2. In the aspect of learning, the learning plan should be made  to produce the forms of learning management, create motivation to the learners and support the learners’ learning process.

3. In the aspect of educational media and technology, the demonstration should be held to give the knowledge of how to produce several medias and allotting the budget for purchasing new technological medias for the old ones that were decayed.

4. In the aspect of internal demonstration, training the teachers before  starting the semesters of every year in order to improve the teaching method and to promote and support the teachers to do demonstration between them.

5. In the aspect of educational measurement and assessment, it should design the instruments for measurement and assessment in accordance with learners’ knowledge and have the rule for testing. The measurement should be made in several aspects such as in the aspect of knowledge, diligent, intention. The work shop meeting of measurement and assessment should be held for the teachers.
