              This thesis aims to 1) Study the concept with folk music in Surin province,2) Study the development of Kantrum in Surin Subdistrice,3) Study the ethical appear in Surin Subdistrice,surin province.

              The study found that

              Folk music is a song composed by the villagers or folk artists, This may be the name of a song artists or not, Folk songs exist in all regions of the Thailand, As the song says, a way of life, Traditions of the people of the regions. Folk songs and Folk Show in surin province, includes jariang and kantrum etc. Folk music represents life and the way of lives of people in Surin province,kantrum is master  of folk songs and other folk in surin province, kantrum is Influenced by music patipag of Khmer in Cambodia, Used to play the superstition,Such as the psychic witch, Or playing bong bod.

              Kantrum popular play in auspicious ceremony Such as the ordination ceremony, wedding, etc.The Kantrum discusses the traditions, lifestyle, religious principles for a guide in life. The present Kantrum in Surin Province focus on fun to match the period.

              Ethical principles that appear in the song Kantrum include ethical principles for human living, such as the principle of charity in Buddhism. Teaching as a hardworking people in their careers. Studying and having gratitude to the benefactor. Nowadays the old song Kantrum will find difficult listening. Most of them are Kantrum applications focused on fun.
