Abstract

                   This thesis has 3 objectives, namely:-  (1) to study the explanation of  hell and heaven in the Buddhist Scriptures, (2) to study the explanation of hell and in heaven Thai societies, and (3) to propose the way of explanation of hell and  heaven for the new generation.

                 From the research, It is found that: In the Theravada Buddhist Scriptures, there is the explanation in the hell and the heaven. More over, there is the explanation of the relationship between the States, the hell and animalsbeasts and the deities. Regarding the world, the Buddha said about the characteristics of the different states. The Buddha said about the hell and the heaven in many forms.

                 Niraya means the state in which it is believed that the evil doer must be  born in the hell and will be punished. It is a land full of all the sufferings. The big hell is of 8 realms called Mahanaraka. The characteristics of the hell beasts are as follows: those who do bodily verbally and mentally bad actions}
and the one who do not observe the five precepts.

                 Thus, they received the suffering in the hell. On the contrary, Heaven means the state where the deities live. It is the of 6 realms full of only happiness and of the deity property. Those who will be born in heaven must be those who do good actions.

                 The explanations of the hell and  heaven in Thai societies are as follows:-The belief in hell and heaven has been of the flounce to the Thai societies with the receiving of the way of founding the belief in the hell and the seaven since  Sukhothai period. There is also the development of the life in matter of Kammas. 

                 In Buddhism, there is the fixations of the way of the Heaven sand and the hell in to 2 levels:-  the level of the faith and the brew of wisdom. 

                 The good thought the good speech and good action are of the results to the present doers. On the contrary, if one thinks badly, speaks boldly does boldly one will go to hell.

                 The explanation of hell and heaven for a new generations at present. So it is very necessary Nowadays people should understand about hell and heaven. And teach young people to believe that I do not go to heaven. Who do evil, it must go to hell. The scientific approach to describe the image is clear. The empirical Guidelines describe the value of the benefits and importance of life. And a new approach to explain the law to look rationality. And agencies Education, such as schools and universities to publish and teach about hell and heaven, the more the parents to teach about hell and heaven on a regular basis throughout the TV series, movies and other media must insert the Hell Karma evil latency is.
