Community Leader’s Desirable Characteristics for Peace in Thai Society

Abstract

This dissertation has a purpose. 1) to analyze the characteristics of community leaders for desirable peace 2) To study the characteristics of community leaders for peace in Theravada Buddhism and 3) to present the characteristics of community leaders for peace in today's Thai society at present In doing research, a total 2 groups of 24 groups, totaling 24 images / person, consisting of 12 leaders in Thai society You and the community leaders of 2 communities, totaling 12 people, present the descriptive information. Examine and confirm knowledge with focus group by 6 experts
The research found that
1) Characteristics of community leaders for desirable peace From in-depth interviews with religious leaders and community leaders aimed at creating 2 communities. ncluding studying the characteristics of peace Found that the characteristics of community leaders for desirable peace and Must be a visionary Motivating and cultivating ethical consciousness And aim to develop oneself to get rid of passion.
2) Characteristics of community leaders for peace in Theravada Buddhism found thathere should be a step-by-step approach to both internal and external development. Start from outside to go to within yourself by studying the threefold principles. 
3) presenting the characteristics of community leaders for desirable peace in the present Thai society According to the 4 feature framework. Is 1) a good personality consisting of a healthy body. Posing suitable for the temperate Be cheerful, polite and Clean dress 2) Good behavior consists of Leaders have all 5 precepts, all with discipline, truth, and career. Discipline, Truth, Word, Career. 3) Good mind consists of Benevolent, determined, committed to work Emotional control, morality and ethics. And 4) good intelligence, consisting of enlightenment, up to date, adaptation, goodness, courage, patience, solitude.
