A Conciliation Process by Buddhist Peaceful Means of Associate Judges: A Case Study Labour Court Region 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows. 1) to examine problems and conciliation processes of associate judges of Labour Court Region 2  2) to study conciliation processes by means of Buddhist peace 3) to propose a conciliation process by means of Buddhist peace to associate judges of Labour Court Region 2

The methodology of this research includes qualitative research, documentary research, and an in-depth interview with experts and concerned personnel from Labour Court Region 2

                 The results of the study

                 1. Problems in conciliation processes of associate judges of Labour Court Region 2 include the followings; the willingness to conciliate of both litigants, skills of conciliators, the dilatory in prosecution by conciliation process of litigants, and problems from outside party.

                 2. The Buddhist principles which could successfully be applied and integrated in conciliation processes are the Noble Truth, the Prejudice 4, the Four Sublime States of Mind, and the Sappurisa-dhamma.

                 3. The integrate Buddhist peace in conciliation processes of associate judges of Labour Court Region 2 shall be applied into 4 steps as follows. 1) Prepare and be calm. Try to eradicate all emotions. 2) Analyze and discover the causes of the disputes 3) Eradicate all conflicts 4) Find resolutions or mutual agreements and Buddhist principles to be applied in conciliation processes
